On May 1, the Central Hinds Cougar family expanded to include next year's 4th, 5th, and 6th grade teams.  We are pleased to announce the success of our first annual Pee-Wee Junior Day!  The day began with weight room sessions by both the Junior Varsity and Varsity Football teams and concluded with the 1st padded practice of Spring.  The Varsity team served as position-specific mentors to the Pee-Wee program and shadowed them throughout the practice.  Most of the day was spent watching practice, and The Pee-Wee teams were at first by standers in the indie groups, but quickly jumped in to get reps with the Junior Varsity guys.  The day consisted of individual groups and board drills and concluded with some Oklahoma.  I want to personally thank Coach Britt and Coach Saums for allowing us to kick off your "Preview Week" and look forward to many joint ventures in the future.  As you can see from the picture below, the interest in our football program is right on track.  Thanks again to all who came out and go Cougars!
